Hi, I’m Sharron and I make luxurious artisan soaps and natural bodycare products that are 100% natural, plus scented soy wax candles to soothe at the end of stressful days. My desire is that you’ll sink into a world of luxurious self-care, feeling healthy, energised and empowered. 

 

My Windrush parents came to London from the island of Dominica in the 1950’s, but going back on a visit as a 9-year-old, I was completely blown away. The lush landscape and fragrant aromas arrested every one of my senses. This place was paradise and inspired Kalabash®. 

 

Years later I began to experiment, combining warm, tropical scents with the most sustainable, natural ingredients I could source.  I actually started out making bodycare products from my own kitchen table over a decade ago and launched Kalabash in later life in 2018.

 

I named "Kalabash" after the magnificent Calabash tree, a native and versatile evergreen which produces fragrant fresh blooms every day.

It's a beautiful reminder of what this sustainable black owned brand stands for: holistic self-care, luxury and sustainability and a tropical slice of

Caribbean beauty in your home each day.
